Tungsten Copper
These composite materials are produced by impregnating tungsten, which is the higher melting point sintered material, with copper. Due to the variation in the grain size of the tungsten, as well as the sinter parameters it is possible to produce materials with various percentages of copper.
The material gets its final shape by machining or electric discharge cutting of the isostatically pressed semi-finished product.
In tungsten copper the highest resistance to burning of the tungsten is optimally combined with the high removal rate of the copper.
